How to arrive at the conference venue?
The Wayamba University of Sri Lanka is well connected through roads and railway lines.
University is approximately 50 km away from the Bandaranayeke International Airport and 88.5 km from Colombo which is the commercial capital of Sri Lanka.
Followings are the main bus routes.
Route No. 92 starts from Colombo central bus stand and travels via Katunayake and Negambo. Approximate journey time is 2 hours. Both air conditioned buses and non-air conditioned buses are available. Frequency of buses is in every 20 minutes.
Route No. 998 starts from Kurunagala central bus stand and travels via Narammala. Approximate journey time is 1 hour. Both air conditioned buses and non-air conditioned buses are available. Frequency of buses is in every 20 minutes.
Route No. 998 starts from Madampe central bus stand. Approximate journey time is 1 hour. Frequency of buses is in every 20 minutes.
Route No. 935 starts from Pannala central bus stand. Approximate journey time is 45 minutes.
Puttalam line starts from Fort railway station. Get down at Nattandiya. Take a bus (route No. 92) from Nattandiya to the conference venue.
Taxi and Tuk tuk
Taxi services and Asians favorite tuk tuk (3 wheelers) can be taken from any part of the country. An airport taxi service is available and upon arrival, you may visit the kiosk and order a taxi.
How can I apply for entry visa?
Many nationals can obtain visa on arrival. Some nationals will have to obtain visa prior to arrival.
